Equilibrium is comprised of two main components:
Equilibrium can interconnect several blockchains together as it is built on top of the cutting-edge Polkadot/Substrate technology, a brainchild of Gavin Wood, former CTO of Ethereum. Polkadot is considered one of the most promising blockchain platforms on the market with innovations at the scale of Ethereum when it was introduced for the first time in 2014.
Our product scope is huge and its backlog contains hundreds of epics. Some companies build whole their businesses just around a part of our product. For example, Compound is working on just pooled lending protocol and the company’s market capitalization is $1.89 bn. DyDx is building only DEX while its market capitalization is $1.1 bn. All of them are running just on a single blockchain. Equilibrium has all chances to overcome its contenders by uniting their functionality under one umbrella and enabling cross-chain interoperability.
